A face-to-face office visit is often the best way to find out what is wrong with your child, but sometimes the rest of life gets in the way.
If your boss is demanding you show up in the office, or you need to quickly check whether that scratchy cough is enough to keep your student out of the classroom, a fast virtual visit with one of our health professionals could be the best and most efficient way to go.
Secure and confidential telemedicine and online counseling visits will be available during HD Pediatrics office hours. We will ask you to take your child’s temperature and discuss what is concerning you. Even over an online device, though, we will be able to gather enough information to prescribe medicine or other steps to ease your child’s discomfort.

About Robyn
MSN, RN, cPNP-PC, President of HD Pediatrics
Robyn has worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner for over 15 years, examining, diagnosing and treating children from newborns to 19 years old for both chronic and acute illnesses. She also performs well-child visits and educates parents and patients about their diagnoses so that together they can create the best care plans.

Dr. JoséAlberto (J.A.) Betances, MD graduated from Amherst College with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in his hometown of the Bronx, N.Y. He spent his residency in social pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.
